Terms of service
Version 2026-10-27
These terms apply to Tact, the personal agent by Amplitude Ltd, in the app, on the website and on WhatsApp. By creating an account, or by replying YES on WhatsApp, you accept these terms and the privacy policy.
1. Who we are and what Tact is
Tact is made by Amplitude Ltd, a company registered in Ireland.
Tact is a personal agent built on artificial intelligence. It talks by message and by voice, remembers what you tell it, suggests things when it is worth it and acts on your behalf within what you approve.
In every conversation you are talking to an artificial intelligence system. If you ask, it confirms that.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. By creating an account you declare that you are.
One account per person, with a real phone number or email. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
Businesses using the Tact Platform have their own contract, which prevails over these terms where they differ.
3. How the account opens and what the acceptance records
The account opens in the app, on the website or inside WhatsApp, when you reply YES to the question about age and terms.
We keep the date of acceptance, the version of these terms and, on WhatsApp, the message with your YES. That is the proof that you accepted.
4. What Tact does for you and how you approve
Reading, summarising, remembering and replying: Tact does these without asking.
Buying, paying, cancelling a service, messaging or emailing someone else, booking in your name: Tact only does these with your explicit approval, on a card that shows what will happen. For purchases and payments we ask for one more confirmation.
You can set fixed rules (for example, never spend above an amount without asking) and pause everything at any time in Account.
5. Connections to other services
Connecting Google, WhatsApp, shops or other services is optional. Tact says why it needs it, what it will read and how to turn it off.
Inside those services their terms apply. You can disconnect whenever you want in Account.
6. What is not allowed
Using Tact for anything illegal, fraud, harassment, spam, or to act for another person without authorisation.
Trying to bypass approvals, limits or the security of the service.
Storing health data without enabling that use in Account. By default the account does not accept that kind of data.
Tact may refuse a request that breaks these terms.
7. Plans and payment
There is a free plan with limits and paid subscription plans, charged through Stripe.
You cancel whenever you want. The subscription runs until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the law of your country.
8. Errors, limits and liability
Tact uses artificial intelligence models and can make mistakes. Check before relying on information or on an action.
Tact is not for emergencies and does not replace a doctor, a lawyer or a financial adviser.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for damages is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits liability for wilful misconduct or rights that consumer law guarantees.
9. Ending
You can delete your account and everything it holds in Account, at any time.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. What the law requires us to keep is kept for the legal period.
10. Changes, law and contact
When these terms change in a relevant way, we tell you in the app or in the channel you use, and the new version applies from the next acceptance.
Irish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, including the Consumer Defence Code in Brazil.
